Hey guys,
Last weekend i finally got around to swapping out my old cracked dash pad with a nice clean one(which i got off these forums, thanks again suprajjang). Anyways, as I was putting the last few parts back in i decided to start up the car and make sure everything got wired back in correctly. My engine temp gauge, tachometer, and oil pressure gauges all stopped working . In addition, the engine temp doesn't light up at all, and the tachometer is dark till about the 3k mark. So i pulled the cluster back out and checked all the connections and they all seemed fine, but i pulled em out and put em back in just to be sure. Still no luck. I wont have time to get back to it until this weekend, at which point im gonna thouroughly check everything. so basically in the meantime, my question is did i make a stupid mistake somewhere? Is there one thing that would affect only those 3 gauges?
I reused my original harness which was working fine before the swap. I've also checked all my fuses just to be safe. I was very careful with the cluster, but there's always the possibility it broke during the swap. Hopefully i just missed a connection somewhere, and didn't do something horrible like break a wire in some obscure, hard to reach place. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you guys have.
