Seat belt guide questions

Alright, here are my questions regarding the seat belt guides.

1. Which way is the correct way to put them on? (the fat side to the rear or the fat side to the front?)

2. Where exactly are you supposed to mount them?

3. How long are the screws supposed to be and can i just buy some screws from home depot?

you talkin about the guides that mount to the front seat head rests and contain the shoulder belts?

if so... you need the right seats to mount them to. you have a pre89 and i know that the guides didnt appear till at least 89... i have an 87 seat with no guides.

youre probably boned...

yeah i probably am...because when i feel around on my seats there seems to be no hard points for mounting...i asked frankie_lala if it was possible to put them on my car he said "yeah my 87 has them" so...what to do?

The guide can only go 1 way. You can't swap a left guide to a right seat.
Well, that only if you have a 89+ seat like they already said.

uh well... you can either cut up your seat and hope you find the mounting point inside... or see if you can find some 89+ seats.

edit; burgundy makes me sad... im so happy i swapped my interior.
