Well I got new rims and tires installed on my car yesterday. Took it for a long drive yesterday. Drove great. Today when i started it I heard the loudest and worse sounds. My entire drive belts are seized up moving very little. Anyone ever had this problem before. I think it's the water pump pulley. Would this mean the water pump itself is bad, my car doesn't run hot or leak any fluids that I have ever noticed.

Your referring to just the alternator belt right?

If so, yeah, it pretty much has to be either a siezed water pump or alternator. Also, check your fan and make sure nothing is caught in it holding it in place, that might do it as well.

I think it's the water pump. I have to replace the entire unit right? I ordered a pump at KOI for 12:30am tomorrow. I don't think anything is in the fan. Altenator pulley spins, and of course since the engine runs the harmonic balancer is rotating the a?C isn't hooked up no drive belts ran to it. Also I don't think I have a belt tensioner for this belt. If I do I don't know what it is. This belt runs around the balancer (at bottom) , the water pump and the altenator. I think when you buy a water pump for the supra it has the pulley aswell correct me if wrong? I hate this happening just spent $1100 on rims/tires yesterday that I really didn't have to spend but thats what happens with me lol.

Oops forgot to add this. Is this Water pump a pain in the ass to replace. Is their a bleeder valve or anything. I'm always worried about replacing water pumps and getting air bubble(s) in the cooling system especially with this aluminum head and stock HG pushing 7PSI.

water pump is a snap. 1 hr job tops. just make sure you keep the bolts straight! there are 2 different lengths and they are not interchangeable. when my bros WP went out it bled through the weep hole some also....
