Hello fellow supra fanatics............
My 91 ma71 started life out as a LHD that was saved from death.I found this supra in a junkyard that i used to work at in the Atlanta Ga area.Over the past 8 months I have sourced a RHD front cut which was stripped(shell) to obtain the fire wall, pedals, and neccesary stuff to complete the process of changing it to RHD.I just returned from tokyo on a visit with my buddies Patrick and Russell who own RHD JAPAN..While there i sourced a complete RHD JZA70, 7mgte powered sport roof that was involved in a nasty rear ender for cheap and am waiting on it to arrive sometime during the next month in Savannah at the port for pick up.This supra will let me obtain the necc wiring, relays, ecm's,etc to complete my swap down to authintic decals for the true JDM feel....
I own a small custom shop In Ellijay GA called Scoobys speed and show, and do many driveline mods to any vehicle for several shops around north GA including Southern Customs located 5 miles from my shop...If you are from GA,NC,TENN look them or i up at www.scustoms.com and tell them Scooby sent ya!!!!!!!!!!!
The 7mgte has been rebuilt by me with eagle rods, weisco pistons,n/a cams,550cc r/c's,and soon to be controlled by the mega III,GT45 turbo(yes it is the ebay special)Had it checked by Diesel injection of Forest park GA,Eric said it should be a great turbo. expected full boost by 3800-4200 22 psi.I am shooting for 500 rwhp hopefully.....Thanks to D&A machine shop in Canton GA and also Jarco(Micheal)for dealing with all my b/s about being picky on all details of this build up..........
Some photos of my progress in the build up hope you enjoy, will post more as they are avail..............

Hopefully my FFI idea will clear the strut tower but i dont think it will, maybe:naughty: :aigo:

The attached thumb is of my daily which is a 1988 mazda 323 with a BP05 swap runnin 20 psi with haltech ecm pauter rods,Weisco pistons, deves rings,60-1 turbonetics turbo,3 inch manifold back HKS exhaust,etc,etc.....

any info on the RHD conversion, what was exactly needed, how hard was it ect?
The swap is pretty straight forward considering the excellent job Toyota did on their stamping dyes for the firewalls,if you can trim both the body for the swap and the firewall you are going to reinstall to within 1/4 inch of each other ,the firewall to be installed literally will line up with the marks(indentations) of the chassis creating an almost seamless installation....Basically the nightmare about this swap is the wiring(reversing usa full harness and extending)That is why i am sourcing the full supra from japan to ease my indigestion...........All in all this is relatively easy to do you just need the time to do it and i like the RHD way of driving it feels alot more normal to me.............:evil2:  :evil2:

Your engine looks like legos to me :biglaugh:
Very clean tho, except that farout intake idea ahahaa. I like your RHD conversion. I also hope you get it done this summer so we can see pics and vids maybe. You also have to put a digital dash in it as the cluster will fit snug like a bug. If you fail to do this I will crush you :icon_razz
Good luck on all aspects.

A few more photos of my progress on the supra.

These are of the oil cooler relocation kit,as well as my FFI since i fabed the other one up while on a stupid streak. The new one will definatly work considering i followed many of the perfect examples shown on SM....Thanks to those who have taken the time to solve many problems or solve dilemmas that have occured with our picky but badass cars....

This is one of the filter relocation assembly mounted on the chassis on the new drivers side of the SUP...
01010092.JPG

These others are of the FFI and Q45 throttle body,as well as the 4 inch in and out magnaflow coupled up to self made 3.5 in powerstroke pipe from turbo back..

01010096.JPG
01010097.JPG

Ther is also a photo of the ALT relocation to where the power steering pump was...The belts for driving the waterpump and altenator are both 31.5 in in length..I figure since i had to pull like a MF to get the belt on to the WP it would drive it just fine, has very good tension on considering i almost didnt get it to mount on the pump.........FTW to powersteering,i have never had it on any car i have driven, you get used to it after a couple of weeks anyway....
01010099.JPG
Hope these are good progress considering I have very little or energy since the Nopi Nationals are over and am now swamped with rebuilds and fresh meat to create with.......

wow, that's all awesome, except for that first manifold, laughd at that for a bit. I'd lve to have the skill, money, and patience it must take to do a conversion like that.

I was in toyko for two weeks a few months back and rhd is ftw that shit was bad ass....got to drive the freeways and went to imperial palace and several other places of course had to see the sites from the goverment building downtown and rupungi late at night....F&F3 was cool cause i actually stood in shinjuku where they were drifting at in the movie.

Tracked down some friends of mine while there who own RHDJAPAN located in Daita.setagaya-ku for some underground meets and hang outs. That shit was insane anyway i will post a few pics from tokyo gotta download them from my camera...

I finally have gotten her on the road and no troubles so far except for a small leak on a heater hose and my oil feed line blowing out on the DYNO.....After a mild break in we bossted her up to 15 psi and got an impressive set of numbers.......518 hp 488 tq....The power master spools full at around 4400 and is full by 5200-5400......I am glad that it spools as quickly as it does since its massive but it being a twin scrool helps.......
More pics of it in the beginning of the painting process and interior ressurection to come soon got to get batteries for my digi....

Thanks to all those who helped me with parts and advice on this awesome car......SM kicks ass...............:aigo: :evil2:
