the first couple of odometer numbers spun so fast they just melted, leaving the 7,xxx mileage on it.
what the auction doesn't tell you is that's Dr. Emmit Brown's first test car. Then, for some reason, he went with that Delorean (one of the only cars heavier than the mk3:drink1:)

S383...... You live in New York...........is rust a bad problem in your area? From that engine pic, I'd say the car is ate up with rust. He said one spot on each corner, that spot appears to be all the way around each quarter glass. Also, that shift boot seems to been flexed more than a few times. But, maybe thats from sitting dormant for so long. A MKI would be so cool to have, just for Supra meets and such.

I find it funny that it is located in Corona NY, since that is where two local JDM engine importers are located. Ranja and Royal. Right next to shea stadium. I have bought a few motors from those guys in the past. Very shitty area.

Rust isn't bad at all unless you leave it out side for 26 years.....

Most here even drive their cars in the winter (not me!) and after 10 years theres still very little signs of rust.

theres no way that car has 7k miles, unless like nate said, it was parked under a tree, or in a lake, or in a guys back yard it whole life.
