Okay My Sup Has the Lex/550s with a Walbro and it has an SAFC but it has not been tuned yet After getting my car Diagnosed they told me that one cylinder was not firing at idle. I pulled my Plugs and Cylinder 5 plug was black as hell The shop told me I should do a leak down test which is like $325 including a compression test. I'm going to comp test regardless but my buddy who is a mechanic told me that it sounded like an over fueling problem. My car also hits fuel cu way too early. Is it possible the untuned SAFC could b e causing this

btw - Go to Autozone, rent the compression tester. Follow the instructions, see if cyl 5 is low - then squirt some oil into it, see if the compression comes up.

Honestly, if your plug is covered in black carbon, then I'd be more inclined to look at a leaking injector.

Unless you like being reamed in the a hole, $325 is the cost of the tools to do it yourself.

You're gonna have to learn this stuff since you now own a supra / tuner car.

As for the safc - you need to make sure you get a wideband first. Otherwise, you are tuning into the unknown.
