OK as we all know the Lexus AFM lets through a certain amount of unmetered air. Now if you had your SAFC tuned so your A/F ratio was just right and were running a lex AFM wouldn't it cause you to run lean as the SAFC gets its reading from the AFM?? I know theres a simple answer cause there are a tonne of people runnning them together.

Another Quickie, would just running the Lex AFM without 550's remove fuel cut? even though it not recommended. Thanks all.

using the Lex AFM / SAFC combo won't cause you to run lean. Adjusting the AF with SAFC is doing nothing more than scaling the reading from the AFM. Your adjustments should be made based on wide band readings, and as long as you tune with a wide band, you shouldn't run lean.

Of course, sorry I had a big brain fart, anyways anyone know about the second Q? if a Lex Afm alone will remove fuel cut? I'm 99% sure it will just seeing if anyone is running it.

Been running the Lexus/440cc/S-AFC setup for a couple years now. I add 20% across that board at low, then only add ~5% under boost. Life is good, but it does not remove fuel-cut. The act of leaning it out under load only moves the cut line up. Fuel cut still happens near 1600hz. Just get yerself a wideband and keep leaning and making more headroom.
