No, those harnesses will only work on 89-92 as they state. The 87-88 harness are a different pin configuration.

Regarding a writeup, just follow the instructions that came with your SAFC-II and tap in like they say. IIRC the only wire that is actually cut is the AFM wire, all the others are tapped in.

I think he's asking the same question I am.

Im 99% sure I have every thing right, but I would like to know what COLOR the wires are that Im dealing with. The toyota harness wires to be exact.

if the AFM wire wasn't done correctly, yes.

This is how I did mine for a 90 Turbo. The connectors for the ECU are labeled in the TSRM as R(26 pins), S(16 pins) and T(22 pins). I don't have the info available for the 87-88 however. All wires are to be tapped into and sealed. The only wire that needs to be cut is the Light Green/Red (S2) for the airflow signal.
SAFC-II to Vehicle ECU
Red (Power) to +B - Black/Red (T12)
Green (RPM) to IGF - Light Green/Black (R3)
Purple (Knock Sensor 1) to KNK - White(Clear) (S5)
Gray (Throttle) to VTA - White/Red (S11)
Brown (Ground) to E1 - Brown (R14) (Closest to ECU)
Black (Ground) to E1 - Brown (R14) (Away from ECU - Harness Side)
Pink (Airflow Output to ECU) to KS - Light Green/Red (S2 - ECU Side)
Orange (Airflow Input from AFM) to KS - Light Green/Red (S2 - Harness Side)

Hope this helps. Good luck on your project!
