S2 BodyParts

Has anyone purchased any S2 body products for their car yet? Any pictures to share? I know MVP just did a group buy on supraforums - hoping to see some better pictures than the vague ones on S2's site.

My friend Mk3_300 got the carbon front lip spoiler.

Its great quality and very robust looking ( very thick I mean )...but $600 ( shipped to his house) is a VERY LARGE chunk of change for it....He got his WHOLE BOMEX body kit for $650'ish shipped!!!

But it does look good. I can get some pics for you if you want.

Its the stanchions, they are spread WIDE apart...which looks very nice! I hate these GT style wings that are suspended by stanchions in the MIDDLE of the truck lid....very weird looking.....

If I had the funds I would bolt that wing on my car in a hear beat!

Too bad they dont make the rear diffusor's anymore...now that is VERY dissapointing. I would of bought one of those!!!:aigo:

wtf! i might as well just start buying turbo kits, body parts, and supprting mods... maybe i'll even buy a 7m off of someone and get it fully built BEFORE I even buy another Mkiii.

But no diffusor....

There is no use for me to buy those body mouldings without a diffusor.

Me and Kris are in the mindset of making a couple of diffusor molds this sommer. Its one of those side projects.....something interesting.

Diffusors are VERY simple in design and should be easy to make.

Find 4-6 mounting points under the car and BAM mold the diffusor ( take S2's design into heart).

s2's rear diffusor is sex, so i will buy one if you make them based off of s2's design, siman. the only body parts going on my next mkiii are front and rear diffusors, kaminari sides, and maybe a front lip if it fits on there with the diffusor.

Me and kris have taken that into account.

There is ALOT of time and hard labor involved in making the molds and plugs for carbon/glass parts...My good friends dad is a composites engineer and builds glass/carbon hulls for speedboats. The same guy that had the 518whp mk3...LOL

I know alot of people say they would buy one.....but when the time comes to cough up the change....usually its 1/5th the amount of people that actually do come forward with money.

BUT: This is a HIGHLY sought after product....and if made right in a decent price range I can bet ALOT of them could be sold.

Its all about the quality and price......
