So i had an idea of using a set of these Calipers onto the stock brakes. So far all i would need to make would be brackets for the brakes so that they would be centered, as they aren't floating.
They are 4 piston calipers, and stop like mofo's. No one tell me that they won't on our heavier cars because the guy that i got them from had a set on his BMW and they would make him feel like he hit a wall.
My questions to you people is what would you think the best way to make a bracket would be? Are the stock calipers floating? And what do you guys think in general?
LMk.

There's no point.

The rotors are thin, same thickness as the stock rotors. The diameter isn't much different either.

The only benefit is that they're 4 piston and there is a better selection of pads.

So it's really not worth it at all. If you're going to make a bracket, then I would pick a better caliper to start off with. If you're looking for something cheap Z32 stuff is always a good bet, 30mm rotors, although the diameter isn't really that big. And then there's other options if you look for them.

Probably not worth the effort. Ours are pretty good for single piston calipers.

i say if there 3rd gen turboII brakes go for it if the 2nd gen forget it. ten its not worth the effort
and if are brakes are so good then why dose every one wana up grade?

Because people look at our brakes and think they have no manlyhood because they have one piston.

They need to get over it and realize they work well.

Go ARZ or go home.

Stock brakes don't work well. They're too small, rotor thickness mainly. And the calipers are ugly, but that's just extra motivation to move up to something that has a bigger thickness. They just don't handle heat well. They'll fade on the track real quick.
