I did some researching on companies that make 2step launch controls and Rush Racing claims that there antilag will work with the 7m. And for only 200 bucks its way cheaper than a stand alone or MSD route. Anybody have any exsperience with this anti-lag setup?

Reason is to be able to build boost before launching with my drag radials.

I think your getting upset because im using the term 2-step and antilag and lanch control too loosely.

Let me clear it up, Im not looking for a real two-step that controls both ignition and fuel.
Im looking for an ignition based rev limiter that will allow to build boost.

Try it and let us know about it, most of us would like a 200 dollar way to build boost from a launch other than msd or stand alone.

exactly, this was the goal of this thread, didnt want ppl to start coming at me. Just curious if anybody used it.

I'd be interested as well I had a friend that was launching at near redline with his drag radials and 2 step or rev limiter whatever you want to call it.

For $200 why don't you just try it?

BTW, there are LOADS of videos of this thing in action with 1/2JZs. Seems to work on them at least.

queenskid,

the verbage useage is not the issue.

the 2-step you speak off will be a crap shoot.

ALS has granular control of when the ignition event takes place. The Bee-R, this doodad, don't. Or in other words it could be the most agressive timing that the system could see, chewing your turbo up in time flat. IE, it will build the same boost regardless. No way to lessen it or increase it.

That is why the people with knowledge will run ALS or a form of it as too much boost, even on DR will cause wheel spin. So then you need to decrease boost creation if you are not hitting wastegate opening which is only possible by advancing the ignition event.

;)
