Anyone running without the cold start injector and idle air control valve? Is there any difference during start up and idle? I was just wondering if I should run without them to clean up the engine bay and have a cleaner wiring harness. Thanks

During start up will be an issue. Ned to press gas pedal in and keep it held until it warms up slightly. After that no need for CSI and IAC.

As for cleaning the harness up, If it is not broke don't fix it.

You want to clean the harness up? Then do it right and get a standalone and run your own harness, otherwise absolutely pointless.

I've found that even after the car is warmed up it never quite idles right without the idle control valve. You could probably play with the throttle play adjustment but that would be a big hassle for minimal gains.

ISC is too necessary to ditch IMO.
CSI, meh... I'll run it without it for a little, then try with and see how it goes.

I always had the intentions of removing the CSI, but didn't want to just unplug it, I wanted to plug the hole in the rail and make a flange for the mani... just was too lazy to do it.

I looked at it this way: Extended crank due to lack of CSI settled just fine with me as the car wouldn't fire up straight away, and you'd prime the oil system somewhat before the engine coughed to life.
