Running too Rich???

I just recently did a 7mge-7mGTE swap, and i have noticed, when i get on it, i get some smoke at first from the unburned fuel, then you can smell the fuel in the car from it running so rich, wat might be wrong??? please and thanks

can you smell fuel in the cab? then you probly have a fuel leak.. check the fuel pressure damper area, and fpr area for fuel when engine is running..

and u have an atmospheric BOV? Since instalation of SSQV i've been running rich and my MPG droped a bit....

yea you can smell the gas in the cab at times ,but i will check that, and i will have to see wat i can find, but thanks man

if u're smelling gas inside, there must be a leak, check fuel pump external lines, mine ware coroded so they ware also leaking and I could smell gas in interior

Where is the fuel filter generally located in this car?

this is what were here for.

o and for the location, i believe its in the rear, i think i seen there while i was under it once? kind of hidden, i could be wrong.

It is under the car, on top of the gas tank. I replaced mine when I did the fuel pump swap.

hey thanks for all of the info, and did any of you guys that have done the N/A to turbo swap have to swap the fuel pumps? or did the n/a pump work fine? cuz it seems like mine is working fine. well thankx agian for all the help

a wideband sensor will tell you if you are rich or lean without smelling or guessing FYI, good investment.
