alright, everything's put together, (just swapped head, and cams) got it timed, all vacuum hoses are on, coil pack is grounded, but it it running rough. You can tell it fires on all six, but it has a erratic idle, as in it varies from 400 to 800 rpm, regularly. Do you guys have any ideas? I checked coolant sensors, cps wiring, timing, coilpacks, plug wires, grounds, everything I can think of, but no change. Help would be appreciated.

fuel injectors are tight, no visible/audible leaks, throttle body bore is fine on visual inspection head and cams as new condition.

Have you driven it for about 30 miles. Stop and go traffic, and some hwy. The ECU must reset/learn itself after the battery has been diconnected.

the valves are perfect, the head I put on was new, the hg was new toyota, torqued to 78 lbs, I drove about 5 miles, and I've run it about 40 minutes. I don't know if driving is the same as running, though.

Also forgot to mention, the cams are n/a, and my car is turbo. Though I don't figure it makes much of a difference.
