Running Really Rich!!!

Alright so i know that the supra runs rich and most people can shot fireballs but here is my question...

My recent mod is a 3" exhaust from turbo back with no cat just a muffler... My friend behind me says that i have black smoke and it smells like gas... So i know im running rich would it be safe to say to back out the afm screw to get more boost? Problems occur under wot correct? So i really wouldnt have any way to monitor wot...

Also since the car is running soo rich is there anyway to make it run more effciently without say a safc or something like that?

i wouldnt mess with any air fuel stuff without propor monitoring. Id say do it right and get a wideband o2 sensor and tune with something like SAFC.. are u running the lexus afm upgrade?

yea my bad that would be pretty insane that would drag a little bit... lol and no i dont have a lexus afm i was asking about the screw on the stock afm...

basically everything on my car is stock except...

intake, hard pipes, bosch bov, 3"exhaust, mhg and arp studs

How much boost are you running? you could have a boost leak if its running THAT rich? i know when i get a boost leak wot = black smoke... as far as no cats, i personally still have 2 cats so i dont see any smoke on wot. But yeah i wouldnt mess with the set screw unless you have a way to monitor your air fuel ratios just because of the risk of running lean.

idk if i have any boost leaks i dont believe i do... i can boost to around 13psi or so any more and i hit fuel cut... its been getting warmer out and my boost is around 10psi or so and stays steady.. i have a mbc set last summer for around 10 and havent played with it since i havent hit fuel cut last couple days because of the warmer weather

i backed the screw out on my stock afm. no issues. other than the occasional pop between shifts.

i have done this one dyno there is change makes it tad leaner nothing to worrie about does it clear up the smell fo gas no cause it's turbo car

then bump your timing to 14 dagrees i bet you be very happy

btu theny ou have to run the max fule you got around ther 93 or other i ahve tried 92 did nto ping but i still run 94

the best way to fix this is to get a fule reg

yea i get 93 at the pump only other kind we have around here is 87 or 89 not much of a choice

Alright ive come to another problem in that i get reallly really bad gas millege now.... I dont know if its been since i did the bosch bov or the exhaust but since its been out for two months or so...

What things should i check? i am going to pull the o2 sensor and make sure everything is plugged in fine but is there any other way to test the o2 sensor? vacuum leaks are another thing ill check on i would bet that i have a vacuum leak
