Running Hot

I opened my hood today and found steam coming out my radiator and the turbo side of the motor, looks like it was coming from the exhaust manifold, but there is a heat shiled there so i couldnt tell

I noticed that my radiator is now cracked on top, hairline crack but under pressure things get really ugly

However, my temperature guage has not once fluctuated, it remains in the same spot and i have never seen it move:1zhelp:

could be the gauge went bad, or the sensor. air stuck in the system will make it not flow and overheat as well.

stock gauges are really well known for sticking or being inaccurate. Try tapping on it

sounds like the radiator shot coolant onto the exhaust mani.. you might not have got too hot... it was probably just the coolant burning off the mani...

get a good rad.. .or patch it somehow..

BHG....YAY!!!!! , performed a block test and did not like the results, but this will give me an opportnuity to make sure everything is good this time

Make sure to get a new rad if its cracked or you may soon be doing another BHG

yea i was gonna say. lmao i cracked mine too. put a new one onn and i drive like maybe 500 miles. did i mention im rebuiling now
