Don't think this has ever been asked... so don't hate on the noob here.
Since many of you know I am stupid low I am trying to figure out if the RSR will have any issues when I am driving around with it. I have looked around at pics and it seems like it should be okay.. but I want to hear some experience. If anyone has pics please post them up so I can see them at more angles. :)
*edit* I would also like to know about the blitz
Thanks

I have the GT2 exhaust on my car. I've never had any problems with it clearance wise. The only thing that scrapes ever is my downpipe.

Actually RSR GT2 is perfect for super low cars like mine and yours because of the upward side tilt of the muffler, clears driveway slants perfect.

Pics to get an idea for clearance:

Thats good to know. What if you were a tad lower in front and 1" lower in the rear?

It will be fine, my car is also lower half an inch in the front now, and about one inch in the back. I lowered it more right before I put away into storage. This exhaust has really good clearance.

Just make sure your downpipe doesn't go too low.

mNot sure if I am right or not but I reember hearing that the RSR sits way to far back and is maxing out the exhaust doughnuts. I am thinking of getting a shorter cat and/or a short test pipe to make it not stick out as much

Hey Bor, if you are only running it at the track I think you will have no problem. The lowest part of my exhaust (downpipe/testpipe) is always about 1-1.5" away from the ground at all times, and I NEVER scrape until I try to pull in somewhere. Just have to keep a keen eye on the road when driving, though. My car is lower than in my sig pic also. I'm really at max low for full 3" exhaust, sawblades and crappy 205/55's (wtf? lol). I can't fit my foot underneath the stock mud flaps, to put it in perspective. I don't have RSR, I have Blitz.

I also noticed how far the RSR sticks out on Jenya's car. That's a sweet ride, well they both are!!

Good point.. I totally forgot I was just going to be using this at the track mostly. Looks like I have to change it out in the street though hahaha I bet I would scrape up the whole thing going in the garage.
Do you have pics of your blitz? I wouldn't mind getting one of those too.

You already have answered it but it stick out maybe an inch from the bumper ..... You can move the exhaust foward and backwards I think its sticks out perfectly from the pic i see

I have a plan for it which is why I want it to go in more. so I guess I can just make a short test pipe to make it sit in more.

yeah I would expect no problems at that height. The thing is, is that I am way way lower then most people that have these set up. I mainly want to see how the exhaust hugs the chassis if any one has pics of that.

Any pics of the actual clearance under the car? That is what I am more worried about. Because when I do swap engines I will be running which ever exhaust I choose full time.

Well, as you see my car is currently parked on dirt, uneven, etc. so pics of it in relation to the ground will be inaccurate.

And when I go to adjust my suspension, on pavement, I have to park my car on 1-2" thick flat rocks just to fit a jack under it. Just some tips for when you have to swap your exhaust on the fly!!!!

I don't really care about the relation to the ground because as I already said most are not as low as I am. I just want to see how it goes along the bottom of the chassis.

Blitz Nur tucks well at the rear, but as with any 3" exhaust on a MkIII, your main area of concern is where it passes by the diff. It's like most of the others, not quite as tucked as it could be. If you are willing to cut and re-weld some hangers, you could get it really tight to the underside.:icon_bigg
Also, some of those Cobb, or Cart-Boy hangers might help out too. My son has those on his WRX with the Greddy EVO system, and you can't even budge his exhaust!
