My 89' gets a rough idle every now and then. The car doesnt die but will idle down to around 500rpm and idle rough. But this only happens once in a while. For instance i was driving it yesterday. Stop at a light and it was idling fine. Pull up the the next light thought it was going to die due to rough idle. While sitting at that light idling rough it was almost like a relay or valve opened or closed and it went back to a smooth idle. Does anyone know what could cause this. Ive read a little on it and the only thing ive found was it could be the EGR valve sticking. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.
