I'm in the process of restoring an 87 NA auto targa-top supra. My goal right now is to get it to "factory" condition (running well as a daily driver, nothing fancy). I have 1.5 years left in college and afterwards, I will be making some big changes to the car (turbo, auto to R154 conversion, etc.). So, with that being said, I'm on a tight budget.

Would there be a considerable difference in going with 935 Motorsports Budget Brake Package versus a set of Brembo OEM rotors?

I currently need:
- rotors, brake pads, calipers

I have Russell SS brake lines already.

What makes you think you need calipers? Honestly I just recomend going to napa and getting brake rotors...pads are pads for the most part just get good ones....calipers<----doubt you need them

I have brembo rotors on my na and they aren't worth what they cost...they are good but still just oem crap which shouldn't require such a price tag...napa and autozone rotors are just fine.

No matter what pads or rotors you get, the stock brakes still suck for hard use...they all heat soak and get soft...it's really up to you....alot of people here may argu that but I've had regular shit and I now have pbr ultimate ceramic pads with brembo rotors and it still sucks....I've been in mkiii's with the willwood bbk kit and that is the only way to go lol.

Unless the stock rotors are too thin (doubt it), get em cut and if needed rebuild the calipers...

If they're rusty (they're cast iron, they WILL rust), you can paint em...

thanks guys!

I know I need rotors cause I already took them to see if they could be turned, it was a negative.

As for the calipers, I just wanna get rebuilt ones for the sake of time and from what I've heard, it's not that much more expensive.
