Does anyone know the thread pitch Ron uses for vacuum provisions on his manifolds? I know it is 1/8 but is NPT, UNF or BSP. The fittings are about the only other thing i have to buy to get this thing in the car! :1zhelp: I tried to search but couldn't find anything except general info...

Pipe thread/npt is tapered and not to hard to see, bigger on the top of the hole, smaller
at the bottom. UNF. if a 1/8 fine thread bolt threads in more than 3 turns it would be unf.
If it turns in 2 and goes tight it is metric. If it has a machined tapper before the threads
start than it's ORB. You are looking at a port with threads right? Or is it male threads you
see? The only exception to the NPT is if a 1/8 pipe fitting dose not go in than it is British pipe thread. Since these is probably domestic forget that. muzy

yeah it is a port with threads...it must be metric according to your description because I tried a 1/8 NPT and it went in for about two turns and then got tough.

That two turn deal is not for npt, npt gets tighter as it gose in. Is the hole tapered. It
is almost for sure NPT. AS far as I now there is no metic pipe. muzy
