I have a couple of questions i wanted to see if anyone can help me with.
This is the second motor in my car and now i have a rod knock. Low oil pressure and that frekin knock. I have the motor out waiting for me to take it apart. The first motor was junk this motor was shut down once the knock started. I was wondering if i could just change the rod bearings main bearings gaskets and oil pump, using the appropriate sizes for each rod and main journal. Or do i have to take the cranck to the machine shop and have them machine it. Would i have to machine the block. It is only a light knock hardly noticable. Please give me some input. On past experiances.
