Im just wondering.... I had 2 other 7mge's that had spun rod bearing and they both were on the 3rd cylinder from the front. I now have a rod knock in my 7mgte and will probably see which bearing it tomarow. But is it just coincidence that it was the 3rd on the other 2 or is there some reason for it? Maybe firing order or extra stress on it, I dont know. Anybody else have it be the 3rd bearing?

hey man, i have had my second 7 mge in and my rods are knocking like crazy. Check your oil pump, im sure its your oil pump, cause i know mine is done and thats why its making a weird knocking sound which pisses me off.
my first one was the cyl 1 rod.spun a bearing and broke piston ring landing btw compression ring 1-2.Drove me crazy tryin to workout why it held compression and lost at other times,then spun bearing.Had rod knock at startup and at higher rpms.The fact that i didnt change the oil for 15000kms help either.Just see how long it can go for:evil2:
