Is there anyway to change out the rod bearings without pulling the block? The only reason I ask is I don't have a engine houst or stand.:icon_conf

unbolt front corssmember and random shit down there. it can be done, is it recommended, no but it stil lworks. btw how bad is the knocking? if its small, then you can get away with it..

Id recommend buying a hoist . Search craigslist I see them go for $40-$100. I got mine at Kragen for $75.

Engine hoists are cheap, compared to fixing your crank and rods.
