Just bought a "rebuilt" engine(rebuilt my ass:icon_mad:), so i decided to look at some bearings. This is rod bearing #1 and #6 i was wondering what you guys think about these? Also i was suprised to see how well the crank looks. I think anyway..

Well i dont know what the fuck this guy was thinking.. he told me he ran the "rebuilt engine" for 5-10 minutes with NO oil pressure! wtf.. I put in new rod bearings to test and every one was exactly .002.. i dont know if thats coincidence of i fudged something up... What would cause this to have litteraly NO oil pressure?

Edit: he also told me it was fine and no harm was done.. ha!

Rebuilt the engine but failed to buy a new oil pump.
Shit still in pump + wore out pump = bad bearings.

The bearings are definitely new; but, as stated, the oil system was not properly prepped for startup.

Buy a new set of bearings, triple check the oil pump, and clean...clean...clean... A commonly missed area of cleaning are the oil passages in the crank. My bets are on that for the debris.
