my advice on this would be not to put "budget" parts on your car. do it once. save your money and get a metal headgasket.

If your not going to upgrade, do yourself a favor and skip the downgrade.

If your going to go with a composite HG, at-least get the toyota one. Along with some ARP's and proper torque, youll be set.

I would never use a cheap head gasket on a 7m, now most people swear by the metal gaskets but if your not building a mega boost monster i don't see the point in the extra expense of pulling and machining the block and head then having to polish to get the right RA for all I would just suggest a nice OEM gasket, if i remeber right 935 racing use to stock them i think there made by a company called stone that and some arp studs or bolts and your good to go.

If you are really on a tight budget and don't care i have a cheapy 7mge headgasket that i never used (put it on a shelf and bought an oem gasket) and you can have it for free if you pay shipping

Get the toyota one. No generic 7m gasket is worth it unless its metal. With other engines who have metal gaskets stock, sure. But not the 7m. I like rockauto.com, but wouldnt use anything but the OEM toyota headgasket if I were you, IF you are not going mhg.
