I have a code 52 and the ECU is definitely pulling timing on me. The knock sensors aren't in the best place to get to, especially with big hands. Whats the easiest way to rewire them? I don't really want to lift the engine to rewire them. I probably won't lift it even if I had to.

take off the 3000 pipe, and the upper intake plenum. reach down to side of the block, unclip the harness from the knocksensors. then cut the wires a few inches back from the sensor connector, and splice into new harness. voila.

Ok, looking at that pic showing the sensor locations has got me confused lol. My NA has 1 sensor toward the front of the motor not the one shown with the Red arrow. Is that normal to have mine in the front?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think there is a third spot for a knock sensor. It's between the two turbo ones, that is the correct N/A knock sensor location.
I think.
