So I began pulling the head today (well it's after midnight here in Texas, so yesterday really) in order to replace my HG. I'm putting in a Titan 1.4mm and new ARP head bolts. I'm also gonna be installing a new boost guage...anyone have any insight on potential install locations other than the obvious pillar pod? I'm open to suggestion!

I saw a setup I liked with the boost gauge at about 10 o'clock on the steering column. If mine makes it to a driveable state again I think ill be putting mine there

i cut a hole into my dash where the oil pressure guage was and stuck my boost guage in there... i cracked the plastic cause i was very careful... lol but i think it looks awesome.

Yeah those are both viable locales...I was over at a friends house earlier today checking out his '91 1JZ-swapped mk3 and he has his tapped in where the cigarette lighter used to be, looked pretty clean...especially cause just above and to the right where the ash tray should be, he had his AFC-Neo lol. It was a pretty clean install on both counts. I might have to consider that for awhile...hmmm. :)

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what my buddie's setup looks like. I think I'm gonna jack it for my use as well. And Jessemkiiis, is that a Crown Royal bag reincarnated as a shift boot? :D

Mine used to be in the cigarrette lighter location as well. I added a aem wideband and went Lotek A pillar pod.

Yeah, I plan on running my boost and egt in a pillar pod but I would like the wideband in the lighter area. On an off topic side note...what HG did you end up running with? I've been looking at the Titan 1.4mm MHG and going hmmm everytime I look at it...

Well that sir, is just classic! I've definitely gotten myself a bit of inspiration for my interior lately. The carbon will be a nice touch for sure. I'm trying to plot out what I should do as I've got the blue leather and interior trim. I'm not too sure...

Yeah, that's Wayne lol. I was just out at his place a few weeks ago, I picked up his stock wheels while I was there. Gonna dismount the worn out rubber and re-spray em in white...kinda thinking the Blue on White might be a nice touch. And I haven't driven my car in a lil while, but it could have been me.

Wayne pretty cool didnt know he still had his. If youre interested in respraying them you should check out my thread when i resprayed my 5spokes. White would look good on Blue. If i had to do it over again i would probably respray them in gunmetal, but i like my Dark Silver.
