Over a year ago I purchased a 1978 Celica and owned it for a few months. Parted with it since I couldn't keep 2 project cars, but I kept the front seats. For those of you who don't know, they're ALMOST full replicas of our stock MK3 seats, with a few minor differences.

1) BOTH seats have the same commodities the driver's seat in the MK3 has, as in the whole air plushness.

2) They're not electronically controlled (for the plush). Instead, you squeeze a small air pump that doubles as a stress relief. Then with some very basic controls you adjust the seat just like in the electronic MK3 driver's seat. And yes, it works for both front seats (individually).

3) The Celica seat combo is obviously lighter than the MK3 seat combo.

Anyhow, on to the point. Thing is I'm getting those re-upholstered since they're beaten up and I need them to match anyways, along with the back MK3 seats. So far, the best offer I've received is $700 with that "carbon fiber" material, black outline with grey center section and MK4 Supra logo on the headrests. Seems like a very reasonable price, but has anyone out there heard of even better offers? I liked the guy since he immediatly recognized where the seats came from, so it shows that he has experience.

That's a really good price. Good material will cost half that at least.

The Mk4 Supra logo? That's weak. Get the proper logo.

Don't like the MK3 logo. I honestly don't.

And I just remembered. I'm getting a new carpet since I tossed the old one years ago. Thing is the new one is burgandy, and I want it black. Anyone know of any good dyes that won't fade out after being stepped on just a few times? I am getting new floor mats, but I'd still like the carpet to last at least a few years.

the mk4 supra emblem does not belong on a mk3.(your car tho) the toyota sign or the mk3 supra logo would look nice.
