ok well since my rebuild is going slow,:nono: i kinda wanted to start a little side project and do some cosmetic work, well i figured id try doing some reupholster and i c that people on here sell the little center armrest or whatever and get away selling it for like 50 bucks, wtf is that all about? so it inspired me to learn how to reupholster, so i have my auto tech teacher showing me at school how to do that, iono if that would be a good thing to know cause i could start a little thingy on here to do that stuff for peoples supras or whatever, but i will keep you guys posted up on it, i have to charge the camera, haha i felt a little faggy shopping in cloth stores for it but whatever, yeah i have grey leather for the inside but i bought grey suade, i kinda like it, plus when i bought the car the interrior was gone to hell cause those seats are passes the point of needing help, so i might ditch the leather and get some racing seats or somthing, my back seats are in good condition, but the leather gots to go so i will have to reupholster the leather on the doors, well i mean what do u want for 350 bucks, lol which by the way is turbo and i got to drive it home instead of getting it towed! which by the way the targa flew off on the highway cause two of my stupid friends forgot to screw it back in:icon_evil . need a new head gasket.

Arm rest took me an hour, lots of tiny little screws, and I wanted the seal and edges perfect.

The door inserts are easy as pie, the hardest part is just getting them off.

You might be better off buying slightly used rear seats, they may be less expensive, unless you're going to color code the car and stock colors or material isn't an option.

You shouldn't feel "faggy" in a fabric store, you're getting what you need, no need to feel insecure.

Btw the targa flew off because the vaccuum created on the roof. All flat surfaces or ones with a recessive incline will create a vaccuum that will come into affect at high speeds. Be sure to keep your hood and targa locked, it's a common mistake, even considering how big of a mistake it can be.
