Is there a hands down favorite out there? I looked at HPF.com and they have a few to choose from. Does the one with the divorced downpipe work better? How loud is loud when it's at wot? The ad said's that it is loud. I was told by GrimJack I had to replace my stock elbow and since he's smarter than I am, that's what I intend on doing. I just want to make sure I get the right one.:1zhelp: Thanks alot (again)

Is it loud all the time? I already have 3" exhaust and it seems loud right under my seat. Is there anyway of deadening the sound? Will exhaust wrap make it quieter? I have some already I just haven't installed it.

The BIC DDP(Divorced Down Pipe) is designed so that when you reach full boost the wastegate opens up This in turn dumps the wastegate exhaust gases right at the bottom of your car. It's like going from a full exhaust to a 2 foot exhaust with no muffler, that should give you an idea of the level of sound. So yes it’s loud at wide open throttle. However it's the best preforming down pipe on the market for the internally wastegated turbo(like the CT-26). I believe becauseican(BIC) offers the option to rout the wastegate gases back into the main exhaust pipe, this will quite it down considerably and it will still give you most of the advantages of a divorced down pipe. Or you can get his regular Down Pipe, which is still a very good preforming down pipe, but it isn’t as loud as the DDP. Depends if you want a lot of noise when you step on the gas or not.

Here’s his website:
http://www.bicperformance.com/products.htm

Both down pipes are on there so you can see the diffrence.

*in case you didn’t know, BIC’s down pipes replace the elbow as well as the stock down pipe.

I'm leaning towards the ddp. I guess I will learn to live with the loudness. Do I need the flex section on the ddp? They offer it both ways. Who has this product and what do you think of it? Do you have the flex section? Where did you buy it? I've had good luck with HPF so that's where I've been looking. Thanks

the flex section wont let you worry about exhaust components cracking (relieve exhaust system stress) also help in fitment....
its not neccessary but ITs A GREAT OPTION!!!
