Hey fellas.
Last saturday I replaced all 4 shocks with KYB and springs with Eibach. My mechanic told me that the rear-right wheel has a little... hrm... what is the word? Sucks not knowing proper english! .. Anyways, it kinda "moves", ya know. But a little, he said. He said it could be bushings and stuff, and hey, an 18 year old car, I could understand if bushings need replacement.
Is there a company that sells a kit or something? All those bushings or whatever suspension little things to replace? I'm also looking for the rear "Strut Hats" or "Strut Tops" as some call, which I think I'll buy used from a user on this forums, but I'm not sure. But I'd like to buy those bushings at the same time, ya know, in these days, so once I take it to the mechanic to change the strut hats I also replace the bushings and stuff.
Also, if someone has experience with the hats, here's a Q: My rear-right hat didn't have the "D" shape, it was totally round. We managed to tight the nut anyways, BUT it makes sounds from there. My mechanic checked again, and he concluded that the strut hat needs changing... Could a bad strut hat be causing this sounds? (when I go over bumps and stuff)... ?
