Replacement Horn Wiring

I'm trying to replace the wussy stock horn and I can't get it to stay quiet and honk when I press the horn. I have one wire that is yellow with a blue stripe and another that is a white-ish color. Do I need them both connected or do I cover one and ground the other? I am kinda lost and my wiring diagram doesn't clarify things since they are different colors than specified :1zhelp:

There should be 3 wires around the steering wheel, 2 wires for the cruise control, one for the horn, although I dont recall the color the horn will go of if it is touched to anything that can pose a ground on the car. The easiest way to mess with the horn is disconnect your battery

Ok thread resurrection. I was looking through some wiring diagrams and it says Theft Deterrent Horn. I know there are at least two horns in the engine bay. I only have one hooked up at the moment and that is the one in the front of the car behind the bumper. What I want to know is are these horns on separate circuits or the same?

As it stated above I had been trying to wire up a replacement with no sucess. The color of the wires do not match up with the color specified in the digrams. The horn that is d/c at the moment is the one right in front of the driver in the engine bay. I tried every combination I could think of and I could not get it to work. The horn I have made noise when I hooked it up certain ways but it would stay on and never shut off. It's just a simple universal replacement horn with two female connectors and a removable wire for the ground.
Does anyone have an example of what they did?

No argument there.

I want to take the horn out of my '88 Buick Park Avenue and put it in my Supra. It has a two tone harmonic horn that sounds a lot like a freight train. It’s not as loud as the one in the video, but it still registers in at 128db. Plenty loud to clear traffic.

Ok so I was checking out the wiring and I pulled out one of the old horns and I can't get either one to respond now. Last time I used a horn it worked so I have no idea why it wouldn't be now. I didn't see any cracked wires or anything so I'm not sure what's up. My haz-horn fuse is ok too. This is the right wire right?
