yea there is still material, but not nearly as much as I think there should be. I helped a friend replace the parking brakes on on 240, and thery were 3x as thicker. So I know im in need of new ones. And Toyota no longer makes the pads to teh Supra. But I have read that the Toyota Seaina's (the mini-van) brake pads will work. Any insight on this? and ill have to try rock auto

got mine brand new from napa. 1997 Toyota Supra Emergency "Parking" Part#: UP10851PB Cost me $65 for both. It IS VERY thin, the only reason i replaced mine because it was completely worn and didn't stop the car from rolling. Pulling your ebrake while the car is moving will quickly eat these, i was able to take pieces off with my finger nail.

Ya they are really small to begin with. Our cars dont have big parking break pads like most other cars.

Theres a hole in the rotor hat and if you turn it so that hole is pointed down and look in it with a flashlight. you will see a little sproket kinda thing turn it till it stop(forget which way) and then go back 3 clicks.

Also much easier to get rear rotors off if you loosen that first.

This is good, but i don't like how they list front left shoes, and front right shoes. Our cars didn't come with those.

I had a "discussion" with a local toyota dealership about that, what they mean is Left Side Front/ Left Side Rear of the Rear Hub, not the front of the car. I must have spent 15 mins telling the people at the parts dept that I need all the shoes, both front and rear of the hub, and that yea, there are not shoes for the front brakes because they are disk... untill I finally hung up the phone.

I would go with RockAuto, I did and I got great quality shoes both front and rear for both sides, a complete set. Idealy you should replace all of the components when doing a service, but if your parts are in good condition you may be able to get away with it.

Checked RockAuto.com? They usually have good prices.
