Replace the steering wheel while keeping cruise?

I will be swapping out my stock seats with aftermarket one, the stock ones hurt my back surprsingly. Also want to get an aftermarket steering wheel but I LOVE my cruise. The steering wheel is the original and is peeled and looks horrible so I want to change it but I dont want to delete my cruise. Any good ideas on how to keep it? I havent taken my wheel off to see if that assembly is removable or if its made into the whhel but, yea open to ideas.

Really, have yet to see one. I will look into that though. Thanks. I was thinking more of just moving the buttons onto the dash somewhere or maybe center console. I guess I just need to pull off my steering wheel and take a look at the wiring and see if it is all fairly easy to relocate.

I had one in my 86.5 with a Momo wheel, you could look at a late model CC they're on a stalk so might be something you can retro fit.
