Renewing license

I got my license pretty late (age 19, but I knew how to drive before)...

It says it expires on my birthday later this year (10/25), just wondering what I have to do.

Will they send me a letter or do I go in?

Do I have to re-take the test, or do I have to take a new pic, or what?

Sorry, just wondering...

It depends on your state... The state of Oregon requires you to renew your license in person because your appearance can change.. I dont think they require you to retest here.. I've had my license since 16.. renewed it twice, and they've only asked me for a vision test once.. They send you a notification letter here..

Hah! In Florida they'll mail you your new license. They send you a renewal form, you fill it out and send them their money and bingo, bango, bongo... a new license arrives. I've had the same picture on my license since I was 16... and I'm 23 now :)
