Removing stock elbow / downpipe as one piece?

Can the factory downpipe and factory elbow be removed as one unit?

Will I be able to slide the elbow back far enough towards the firewall to clear the studs with the DP attached and the car on jacks?

I soaked the nuts on the elbow to turbo with liquid wrench overnight a couple of times and I can loosen all four nuts now. Seems like it would be easy to slide both elbow and DP together out the bottom of the car.

I ordered a catback from George at Raptor Racing and I just might go for it and do the whole exhaust from the turbo back.

Yes you can.

Just be sure to brake it loose at the cat, before trying to do it pull it back. Seperate the two parts back there to allow all of the movement you need at the top.

Easy as pie! Did it several times.

You will not believe the difference opening up the exhaust will make.

Yes it can be done, but I have yet to take an elbow of that I didn't have to break out the BFH to get it off...
