Hey guys, since I have no stereo in my car for now due to budget problems (haha) and all thats left of it are the 4 rear speakers I decided to take them out as well since I'm really bored and nothing is on TV. I got the rear rear ones out just by removing that large interior panel and taking out the boxes on their mounts. But I don't see exactly how to take the forward rear ones out. It looks like I will have to take out or fold the rear seat or something because I can tell there are screws on the sides of them. Second though, I have no idea what part or how big the panel is that I have to take off. From the outside it looks like the entire vynl/fabric side of the rear seat comes out as one piece... but I can't really tell. Any input helps.

Thanks!

Yep, I went into the EPC and poked around a little bit. Mainly what I was concerned with was that those side cloth patches that hise 2 or 3 screws were that pathetic wood/composite stuff that the rest is made out of, turns out... its steel. So that worked out fine. I got one out so far... and learned a lot about how the interior comes apart. At this point I have almost dismantled the entire interior at one time or another.

Im just confused as to why. Why take out the speakers just because you do not currently have a stereo, I just dont understand?

They will be replaced anyway when I get an aftermarket system. This is more a learning how to do phase so when I get them I'm not pissed off, achy, and sweaty when it comes around to installing them. I get to actually enjoy listening to it instead of going right to bed afterward. :)

So if that doesn't work, I use the weight savings card. lol.
