Removing Dome Lights

I was trying to put LEDs in the dome lights and I am wondering how you take the dome lights plastic off. Is it connected by clips????

Yes they are held on by clips on the left and right(when you are sitting in the driver seat) and be VERY careful when prying them off not to damage them or your roof.

Put your hand against the windshield, and feel the rearview mirror stalk coming down from inside the dome light plastic housing and to the mirror. There is a small gap in the plastic of the dome light there. Pull down hard inside that gap and it will pop off. You may skin a knuckle though, so be careful. I doubt LED's will really be of any use for seeing things, but it's your ride.

yes, two clips on the side facing the windshield, no big deal.

Care to share what size bulb goes into the dome light?

After I install it and it works I will let you know the details but I don't want to make anyone buy the wrong bulb but I bought 2 Ba9s Wide Angle LEDs.
