Is it hard to remove the turbo actuator from the turbo, I took a look and I only see two bolts is there anything holding up the actuator? I ordered a replacement actuator for my Greddy turbo from Greddy and wanted to get all the questions out of the way before I start wrenching away.

Thanks

nope straight up 2 bolts and a pin on the valve it self. super easy maybe 30 min from start to finish

I noticed that long metal rod piece going to the hot side of the turbo. How hard is it to remove the pin, and how does it come off or out? It doesn't reqiure removal of the elbow correct?

Thanks

You should be able to bend the pin back with needle nose pliers the pin at the end of the rod coming out of the actuator. Once the pin is straight pull it out with the pliers. You shouldn’t have to remove the elbow, but that depends on witch way the pin is facing.

^^^ yep what he said. Again super easy job, and straight forward to do. You will have no problem doing it.
