ok, this linkage is killing me. I must be missing something...

I want to remove the entire unit for cleaning. Cant get it out. I unbolted the 4 bolts and then it seems to be stuck on the arms inside... whats the trick to this?

Im sure its real easy, im just missing it.

ok if you pull out just a little you can see a tab on the wiper arm that looks like its made to slide over something. you pull the wiper arm back then out just a little and the tab slides onto the firewall then you just pop the ball out of its holder. the tab holds the arm in place so you can pop the motor off and on.. i can take pics tommorrow if you like.. lmk..

ps im not good at describing things in a hurry but if you look up the online tsrm. it tells you too.

Well, I just did it, and not sure if you still need the help, but here goes.

I just used a cresent wrench and tightened the "jaws" over that flange that is just next to the nut that you see. While holding that flange with the cresent wrench, use a wrench on the nut and loosen.

If you need more leverage, use the interlocking wrenches trick. If you have a set of combination wrenches, you place the boxed side of the second wrench on the open end of the first wrench and turn.
