Yes, you will need to remove it as an assembly with the support.
Remove grills, be careful as it's easy to break the clips that hold them on.
There are two 10mm headed bolts behind the grills.
There are two 10m headed bolts in the top corner at the wheel opening.
There are several more that attach the splash sheilds to the bumper.
There are two large nuts, 17mm iirc, that hold the support to the rails. Once those nuts are off you'll have to pull the bolts out of the top of the rails.
I think that's it aside from unplugging the fog lights
