Remember - when pulling the engine and tranny as a unit, don't forget to remove the shifter from inside the cabin. :icon_evil

I am amused.

Remember when using the stock Supra jack to jack up one side of the car and then realize you can't get the car high enough to place the jack stand where you want it, remove the jack stand out from under the car completely before lowering the stock Supra jack.

And that boys and girls, is why I should not work on cars without adult supervision.

No damage was done other than a small crease that is not visable until you are on your back.

Thank God.

when pulling the engine: first take off and throw away the rear hook at the back of the head on the passengers side of the engine. it tends to straighten out, letting the hook from your cherry picker slide off allowing the engine to slam down on top of your radiator support. :eek3:

ouch. The first time i pulled a 7m+r154 out was in a halfcut i bought. The engine hoist wouldnt lift it high enough and we rested it on the rad support. We didnt have to jack it up so high after that but lucky it was a halfcut.

When putting the engine back in, remember to attach the small L shaped heater hose to the head. :slap:

Yes. Yes. Yes.

The second time I pulled mine I remember what a huge PITA this was, so my second install I connected it to the head. MUCH easier for me later on.
