Snot: That's cool it's just the amount the Crank has been ground

10/10 = 10 thou undersize on the Rods and Mains.

Our Cranks can't go more than that without an expensive Niteride and Heat Treatment.

A new Genuine pump shouldn't be more than that.

i bought one the only thing my machinest said was that you dont know what kind of condition the crank was in before the regrind and that you better off having you own reground. but well see how it goes and the crank comes with bearings.

10/10 refers to the amount taken off the crankshaft, actually cut from it. If you cut more than .010" (that's the .010/.010" - it actually means the rod journals - where the connecting rods ride on the crankshaft - were cut .010", and the main journals - where the crankshaft actually is held to the block - were also cut .010".

What IJ is saying, is that if you cut more than .010" (say, .020" or .030") you will have cut the metal DEEPER than the nitride hardening layer on our crankshafts.

Personally, I'd never use a crank cut more than .010/.010, but that's just me.
