Can somebody explain more about this?
I have the ssqv bov kit and it sounds good but when i go from a roll 70+ mph and put it in neutral the car shut off. Now I put the recirculation insert and the car doesn't shut down but the sounds is gone.

a bov primary purpose is to vent pressure when the throttle gets closed. NOT that it sounds whatever. In our cars. The air is measured then released to outside of the system. Wel the computer still calculated the air in the car soooooo. Instant rich condition and chug chug puff... off goes the motor for a super rich condition ;) That is WHY the recirc fitting does not make the car die. Now to fix that and get the "Y0 that sheet is tYte yo!!" sound.. you will need to take the recirc fitting off AND then buy an SAFC to compensate for said venting to atmosphere.

i think most of us with venting bovs have learned to live with it, with or without SAFC

i like the occasional backfire, makes people jump:) especially now that I can control when it happens and when it doesn't, just gotta play with the throttle a little when i shift.
