Okay heres my schpeil. My voltage gauge in the car reads 11 volts when I'm crusing on the road, my battery reads at 15.4 volts when the car is on. If I'm at a stop light and I turn like my headlights, stereo, and heater on, it reads all the way the hell down to 6 volts and the battery light comes on, and kills my stereo. The car WILL NOT start without a jump anymore, it used to after like 20 tries, but not anymore. When the car is just in the on position, but not started the gauge reads at 9.5 volts. And when I try to crank it over it drops down to 7 volts. Here's what I've done to remedy this problem. I've replaced the alternator TWICE, on the off chance that the one I got was bad. Got a brand Spankin new 84 dollar battery. Looked for any loose wires or grounds. I couldn't find all the grounds and the TSRM isin't exactly helpful in finding them. Also the the engine is making a whirring noise, and I used a broomhandle and put it up to the alternator, and that is where it seems to be coming from.
