well I own an 85 celica gt-s coupe/gt-tr clone
has an old 3tgteu 1.8L dohc 8v efi turbo. canned the ct20b for a ct26 from a 7m, has an fmic, sard trigger ebc, ssqv, corbeau seats w/ schroth harnesses, battery in trunk, vestatec front bumper, falken ze502's, eibach springs and kyb adjustables, strut bar, and stainless brake lines w/ rototech rotors.
motor took a crap after overboosting the stock fuel systems capabilities so its time for a rebuild.
I ordered eagle h beams, arp main studs, calico bearings, wiseco 7:5:1 pistons, cometic head gasket, and arp head studs. made a custom exhaust manifold and am canning the ct26 for a gt35. regrinding the stock 210cams to 288 and porting and polishing the head, and ordering a racingstore.com intake manifold. also have megasquirt ms1 ready for the swap, a set of rce 550 injectors, and a walbro 255. has a boost reference aeromotive pressure regulator and msd coils I forgot to mention and a set of custom made taylor plug wires....not easy to find parts for these motors. i'll post pics up. kinda different than stuff you see all the time ;)
also reason its been a while since i've been around is my 89 na took a big dump on the interstate. lost oil pressure and popped a rod cap and left a rod floating in the cylinder. so its due for a rebuild and this time im doing it right with a mhg and studs.....and swapping the oil pump which im sure is the culprit.
