I've seen alot of RWD vehicles with the little vents behind the
passanger/driver doors that are aimed directly at the rear tires?

Mostly mustangs, im sure theres others.

But im just confused as in why?

Hot tires = sticky
Cold tires = Slick

If im going 80+ mph for example, the last thing i
want is my tires getting cold and lose traction?

Anyone got some ideas on why they do this?

Here is just an example picture, but ive seen some with bigger vents.

are you sure they are aimed at the tires? i always thought they were either fake or for brake cooling

Oh yea i forgot about the brakes...

But yea they are aimed at the tires, i was looking at one while i was walking
into autozone...

Not to mention the brakes are inside the rim almost so it wouldn't even catch any air...
