This is not my subframe but im using it for a visual.

Im going to be going threw all of my suspension components and i have came across pictures of cracked subframes. And my question is what is an effective way of supporting the frame? I have talked with supraguy@aol on the subject and discussed adding gussets to the inner corners with something like quarter inch flat stock. maybe some pictures would be good if yall have any.

Thank you

looked at shaeffs thread and i may copy that. wondering how well it held up?

solid works free version of my thoughts of reinforcing the frame

GRIMJACK-looks good. if you dont mind im going to try to copy that.

also if i go with a aftermarket sway bar wasnt there something about plastic links or something else breaking. and then there is some sort of link arm on the rear that fractures too?

The plastic links will break with stiff sway bars and the tabs on the lower control arm will break as well.

Beech performance sells upgraded arms. As well as battle version.

If you use stock arms need to strengthen the tab.

The heim joints do wear out faster but iirc beech might be able to get some greased spherical ends as well. And the just heim joint can be replaced if needed too.
