Rear Seat Delete With Bins In Progress PICS

This is still a work in progress but i figured id post up pics of what i have....

my brother has a 2001 dodge dakota and the bins were removed from it...when he put in some subs...i thought they would fit perfectly if i cut the armrests off of each side...and well pics below ;)

heres what i cut off of it:

ill bet light people could sit on them if need be...BUT that wont be happening ;)

as for the weight...honestly id say this weighs maybe 5lbs less total...BUT that doesnt include the two rear seatbelts that are coming out etc...

im NOT doing this for weight savings...im doing it because i hate people climbing in the back seat...and i wanted a bin or two to throw in shit in so it wasnt all over the floor of the hatch all the time lol

hey leave the seat belts in and make them back seats, just re-enforce them and put a backing to it, then get some like carpet or vinyl and cover the compartments so you can pull back the carpet and have access to this compartment. that would rock.

i thought about that but like i said...i dont want anything resembling a back seat in there... ;)

LOL, you're not the only one. I sold my 300z because I have to kids & it only had two seats. :biglaugh:
