Motor in car: You would have to remove the trans and flywheel/flexplate to get to it. Don't see how else you could do that.:dunno:

tranny would have to come out, and you will be working under the car. with that said, it will be alot easier to work on out of the car and then you can do other maintenance if you need to. if you have a shop with a lift, then have at it, drop that tranny

will i have to take off tho oil pan? or just drop the trans and wala. I have pulled a block from a car before but i forgot what all I had to do to get to it. I do have a proper shop with lift and all the tools I need. I just don't need any suprizes to were my car sits over night and my boss will ask questions.

pull the tranny, clutch and flywheel. Replace seal. Reinstall flywheel, clutch and tranny. Get new flywheel bolts and replace the clutch if it needs be.

Where's the punch line? You can't post serious shit on here, you have a reputation to uphold........:3d_frown:

nice suprahero lol. but if i believe arent their like 3 or 4 bolts that go from the oil pan into the rear seal housing or am i wrong? but as said it will be tricky without pulling motor what i would suggest is. pull ur driveshaft and replace carrier bearing right away lol. and also drop your tranny and get that out of your way so you have a little bit of room to work than i think you could do it but will still be tight.

Don't need to pull the housing to replace the seal. Just be carefull when you pry out the old one and don't gorilla the new one.
